A musical communication explosion occurs each time vivacious and talented Linda Nail picks up a microphone and breathes life into a song.

She is more than a singer, performer or entertainer. She is a musical communicator who can reach and move people with her interpretation of lyrics. She has the unique ability to crawl in between the lines of her songs, find their real meaning and convey that mood to her audience. Few artists achieve this feat as easily as does Linda.

Recently signed to a major recording contract with Compleat Records, Linda has already gained national prominence with a string of chart records on independent labels like Grand Prix, Ridgetop and Paragon.

Linda's ability to communicate with an audience was enhanced by her seven year engagement with Opryland USA where she performed in the country music segment. She was chosen by Opryland to portray both Minnie Pearl and Barbara Mandrell, which proved her versatility as a performer.

Linda was among the elite of the Opryland performers who were chosen to tour with the Opryland Troupe to major cities across the United States during the winter months. A native of Wabash , Arkansas , Linda came to Nashville in 1973 to cut a demo session with Fred Carter at Nugget Studio. While working on the session, Carter suggested to Linda that she should try out for a spot with the Opryland shows.

During her tenure with Opryland, Linda availed herself every opportunity to pursue her career. She became friends with Wally Cochran, a former RCA Records executive, who offered her a recording contract on his own Paragon Records label. Her first Paragon single "Stop In Nevada" hit the national country music charts.

After Cochran's untimely death, Linda signed with Ridgetop Records. Her first single, "Me Touching You" charted in the 50's, followed by "There Hangs His Hat" which went into the 60's.

Linda is a seasoned television performer, having appeared as a semi-regular on the Ralph Emery Show. She has also been a guest performer with Porter Wagoner, The Road Show in Memphis , Channel Four Magazine, Opryland On Stage, WSM's Noon Show, and the NBC-TV game show, "Fantasy" where she and Danny White did the talent spot.

Through the years, Linda has worked with almost all the country music artists as a performer. She appeared on the concert package show, "Arkansas Comes Home" with Conway Twitty, Glen Campbell, the Wilburn Brothers, Barbara Fairchild and Narvel Felts. She also appeared at the Kentucky Derby with Glen Campbell and worked the Duke's Club in Tulsa with Danny White, the Dallas Cowboys Quarterback.

Linda is a seasoned performer with a ready smile and penetrating warmth that touches everyone she meets. She now calls Nashville home with her husband, David, who was lead guitarist for Barbara Mandrell and Crystal Gayle,

In 1983, Linda had two more chart records, one a duet with label mate Danny White, the Kim Carnes song "You're A Part Of Me" and the other, the title cut from her first album, "Reminiscing", on the Grand Prix label.

Another of Linda's many talents is her songwriting. Her latest recordings are two of her own self penned songs. They are "I Want To Be There" and "Circle". They are being released on a special project titled "Your Love Remains". The project is a double album set of songs by Linda and other artists for people who are grieving lost loved ones and anyone who needs to hear an inspirational message. It is included in a journal and is a very positive, uplifting collection. Linda also co-wrote the title song.

Linda calls Nashville home. Along with her husband Dave they own and operate the Tune Castle recording studio located in Goodlettsville, TN. Linda sings demos for the studios clients and contributes with producing as well. Linda is always working creatively with her music. She writes songs in nearly all styles and is developing new projects all the time.
